Nike just released an incredible collaboration. Well, really, what's really incredible is the commercial! Let me give you some context.
Nike x Nigo: a Japanese collab from the 90s with Power Rangers and Gundam inspirations
Nike has teamed up with Kenzo creator Nigo for a new collaboration. What's cool is that Nigo wanted to give this collection a very 90s Japanese geek vibe, with obvious inspirations coming from cult franchises like Power Rangers , Gundam , and other Japanese pop culture classics. A real treat for fans of this universe.
The result? Colorful and a little expensive
The result is cool, it's colorful, cute, and, as usual with this kind of collabs, a little more expensive than average. We're talking about the t-shirt at €82 , and it's probably already out of stock. But it's not really the collection itself that impressed me.
An incredible clip with a Japanese and old school anime style
The real success of this collaboration is the music video ! Honestly, it is so well done, with a Japanese touch and an old school anime style, that I almost found that the clothes did not match the expectation that the video had created. It's like the video had set the bar too high.
But hey, enough talking, enjoy the clip for yourself and tell me what you think. You can also check out the collection on the official website here .

Conclusion
So, what struck you the most? The video, the Power Rangers and Gundam inspirations, or the collection? Don't hesitate to tell me in the comments. Ciao!
