Biography

Julian, aka Mechaart Studio, is an independent illustrator based in Paris, passionate about the world of Japanese mechas, cyberpunk and pop culture. Born in the 2000s, he grew up discovering One Piece, which became a major source of inspiration and made him want to draw. His first sketches, made from manga pages, marked the beginning of an artistic journey built with passion and determination.

After graduating from high school and successfully entering art school, Julian spent six years perfecting his graphic design skills while cultivating his love for illustration. The year 2020, marked by the pandemic, became a key moment of reflection, which led him to dream of going to Japan. This dream came true: Julian spent a year there as a freelancer, developing his artistic universe and immersing himself in the aesthetics that had always fascinated him.
Today, under the name Mechaart Studio, Julian brings to life characters and scenes inspired by Japanese culture, cyberpunk and his own imagination. With a technical mastery ranging from traditional drawing to Procreate and Photoshop, he creates modern and striking illustrations, mixing precise lines and dynamic compositions. His works, halfway between homage to his inspirations and original visions, transport the viewer into vibrant and futuristic worlds.
